Wexford Montessori Magnet School is a true rarity in the Lansing area. It provides authentic Montessori education from experienced staff without charging tuition. Students at Wexford receive the same high-quality instruction from knowledgeable, committed staff as they would at a private school. As with all Montessori schools, Wexford's educational focus is based on the philosophies of Dr. Maria Montessori, an Italian physician who developed a unique education program based on her observations that children almost effortlessly absorb knowledge from their surroundings.
